Chunky Panday is 'proud' of Ananya Panday's conduct on Koffee With Karan: ‘She should never lose that honesty in her’
Actor Chunky Panday praised his daughter, actor Ananya Panday after he recently appeared in the film maker Karan Johar, Koffee with Karan 7. ‘Honesty. Fans also praised their ‘mature’ response to the complex situation at the event.
A new episode from Koffee with Karan 7, organized by Karan, featured his Annya together with actor Vijay Deverakonda. This duo will be seen together for the first time in their upcoming film Liger, led by Puri Jagannadh and produced by Karan. Fans have praised Anya for calling sexism in the film Hit Vijay Arjun Reddy in front of him.
Speaking with the Times of India, Chunky talked about Annya, “I feel above the world. He brought himself very well at KWK (Koffee with Karan). I am very proud of him and feel that he must not lose that honesty.”
At the event, Karan Johar asked if he loved Arjun Reddy, the character played by Vijay in the film of the same name. Anya replied that he would not be good with the romantic relationship depicted in the film. He said, “Honestly I feel that if people come to him (Vijay Deverakonda) then I am sure there are people like that. I am not surrounded by those people. And I will not suggest my friend to be fine with it. But, that’s how I am. “
Anya also acted as a peacemaker between Karan and Actor Kartik Aaryan, who had fallen a few years ago. In the last quiz round, Karan asked Anya and Vijay to call celebrities and made them say, “Hey Karan is me.” Anya calls Kartik and asks him to help him. He agreed and said, “Hey karan is me”. Then, Karan thanked Kartik for participating in the game.
Annya will be seen next in Liger, who is ready to be rotated in theaters on August 25. The film will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. He will also be seen at Arjun Varain Singh Kho Gaye Hum Kahan. The film stars Siddhant Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourava and written by Arjun, along with Zoya Akhtar, and Reema Kagti.
